Minecraft 1.21.1: plugins and builds
Cyrus compiles plugins against the real Paper API of Minecraft 1.21.1 and test-flies them on a 1.21.1 server before you install them.
About 1.21.1
- The oldest version Cyrus supports. Some item looks are limited compared to newer versions; the studios show each limit.
- Recipe ingredients in data packs are objects ({"item": ...}), which changed in 1.21.2.
Builds and schematics
Every Cyrus build is saved with 1.21.1 block data, which 1.21.1 loads directly (WorldEdit and /place template both do this).

Not offered
Minecraft 26.x is in preview and cannot be built for yet. Older versions and the 1.21.x releases between the supported ones are not built. See the versions page for the full list.
Questions
Will a plugin made for 1.21.1 work on another version?
Sometimes, but Cyrus builds and tests for one exact version. Pick your server's version when you start; you can rebuild for another version later.
Do my players need to install anything?
No. Plugins made with Cyrus run on the server (Cyrus tests on Paper; Purpur is a Paper fork and usually runs Paper plugins, but it is not tested), and builds are ordinary blocks, so players join with a normal Minecraft client.
