Your first mod
From sign-in to a mod running on your server, step by step.
This takes a few minutes. You can stop at any step and come back; your project is saved.
- Sign in with Nxeon. Cyrus uses your Nxeon account. One login, one wallet. See connecting your account.
- Choose New mod. Pick Minecraft and a server version. Pick a server to install on, or choose to download the jar instead.
- Describe it. Write what you want, or start from a template. Short and specific beats long and vague: see writing a good prompt.
- Check the cost. Before you build, Cyrus shows how many tokens the build may hold. It spends only what it uses. See how spend is shown.
- Build and watch. You see the plan, the code and any assets appear as they are made. A build that fails on our side gives its tokens back.
- Read the Test Flight result. On the project page, check what was booted and tested. See Test Flight.
- Install. Install on a connected server, or download the jar. You can roll back at any time. See installing and rolling back.
If you want to change something
Describe the change in the studio chat, or open a studio and edit it by hand. Every change is a new revision, so nothing is lost.
First-run tour
The first time you open Cyrus, a short tour points out New mod, Projects, Plan and tokens, Your servers and Account. Replay it any time from Account.
