Starting from a template
Pick a starter, edit the prompt, build.
Templates are example prompts for common Minecraft mods. Each shows what it makes, which studios it uses and which plan it expects.
How to use one
- Open New mod and choose a category under Start from a template.
- Click a template. Its prompt fills the box.
- Change anything you like. The template is only a starting point.
- Check the cost, then build.
Reading a template card
- Idea: what the mod does in one line.
- Plan: the lowest plan that fits. Some templates use sound, textures or 3D, which need a plan that includes that studio.
- Studios and assets: what the build may create and what you can edit afterwards.
- Version notes: anything that differs by Minecraft version.
Templates are written to build on the Minecraft versions Cyrus supports today. They are not guaranteed to build exactly the same every time: the prompt is the specification, and you can change it.
