Cyrus for Minecraft

Minecraft dungeon ideas

Good dungeon rooms are lit just enough to see the path, have one focal point (a pit, an altar, a sarcophagus) and give the player cover to move between. Deepslate and blackstone palettes with soul fire make darker moods; keep the main path at light level 8 or more so mobs only spawn where you want them.

  • 11,090 blocks placed
  • 46 block types

Tips

  • Give each room one focal feature and keep the rest quieter.
  • Break up the floor with a sunken pit or a raised platform.
  • Use soul lanterns and soul fire for colder, creepier light.
  • Leave alcoves along the walls for loot or ambushes.

What Cyrus builds here

Each build is one room. Cyrus does not connect rooms into a full dungeon layout here; the Cyrus mod builder can place rooms like these inside a dungeon mod for you.

FAQ

Questions

Which file formats can I download?

A WorldEdit schematic (.schem, Sponge schematic version 3, for WorldEdit 7.3+ and FAWE) and a vanilla structure file (.nbt, for structure blocks and /place template). Both are made from the same build, block for block.

Can Cyrus make my own dungeons?

Yes, within the limits above: describe it in the build generator (for example "a dark deepslate crypt with sarcophagi in alcoves, soul fire braziers and a sunken centre") or paste a picture.
