Safety and licensing
How builds are scanned, what the library licence is, and what is never shared.
Builds are scanned
Every build is compiled and scanned before it can be installed. Builds that fail the scan are not installable.
The library licence
The shared library only contains CC0 assets, free for anyone to use with no credit. Cyrus does not use assets that need attribution.
Sharing your assets
Assets you create in a studio can be contributed automatically after they pass the filters. When this happens you can see it under Library contributions on your dashboard, with its state: published, in review, held or removed.
By using Cyrus you agree to the licence set out in the Terms for assets you contribute. Read the Terms for the exact wording.
What is never contributed
- Anything you upload or import.
- Anything derived from another file, including game files you bring.
- Content from templates.
- Anything that fails a filter.
- Your mod's code and settings. The library holds assets only.
What the filters check
Trademarks, names of real weapons, and violent, extremist, drug-related and adult content. Assets that might match are held for review rather than published.

Game files
Game files are the game maker's. If you bring your own, Cyrus uses them only for your job, does not keep them longer than needed, and never shares them. See Texture Studio.
Open a Nxeon support ticket and tell us the project name. We can see your build details when you open it from the build page.
